My name is Gavin Ryalls. I am married to Bronwen and we have two children at university. Home is Dunfermline in Scotland although we are currently in Rwanda doing voluntary charity work with street children and the poor.

The aim of this blog is to contribute to the teaching of God’s word by trying to make sense of the world around us from a Biblical perspective. The theology is in general, reformed and from Baptist and Presbyterian roots. It is also evangelical although there was once a time when I would have shuddered at the thought.

We each have a place in the kingdom, and with Jesus as our Saviour, a role to play in fulfilling God’s purpose for us. John 10:10 is the promise that we all have this side of eternity:

I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

It is in that spirit that this blog is written.
